Financial Analyst

About the Role

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing insights that help management make informed business decisions.

In this role, you will work with financial information across revenue, expenses, performance trends, and key business indicators to support planning, reporting, and decision-making. You will contribute to the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of financial data while helping identify risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the analysis of financial performance, including trend analysis and variance reporting.
• Deliver accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in a timely manner.
• Maintain visibility into revenue, cost performance, and other key financial metrics.
• Support management with clear financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support.
• Contribute to monthly and annual reporting by ensuring data is organized and reliable.
• Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across reporting and analysis.
• Help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial data used for business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in finance, banking, or financial analysis is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret financial data and translate findings into clear business insights.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
