Merchandiser

About the Role

The Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating customer orders from development through production and delivery, ensuring that requirements related to quality, cost, timelines, and product specifications are consistently met.

This role sits at the center of order execution and requires close coordination with customers, suppliers, production, sourcing, and internal teams. You will help keep product development and production activities on track while maintaining accurate information across systems and supporting commercial objectives such as costing, pricing, and margins.

The position is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced apparel or merchandising environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the coordination of customer orders across the full lifecycle, from development to production and delivery.
• Ensure product, quality, cost, and timeline requirements are met throughout the order process.
• Maintain accurate and timely records for orders, costing, and deliveries in the appropriate systems.
• Proactively escalate and help resolve operational issues that may affect delivery, quality, or timelines.
• Support cross-functional alignment among customers, suppliers, sourcing, production, and internal teams.
• Contribute to effective costing and pricing processes while supporting margin objectives.
• Help drive consistent execution standards across merchandising activities and order follow-up.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Textile/Apparel, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Previous experience in merchandising or within the apparel industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail in managing order and delivery information.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to monitor timelines, follow up consistently, and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
